The Taiko Audio Olympus System is an ultra-luxury two-box digital music platform consisting of the Olympus Server and the external Olympus I/O expansion module. An architecture powered by a total of four separate Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery supplies with GaN FET technology ensures absolute galvanic isolation, multi-layer shielding and a zero noise floor, with up to 36 hours of continuous battery operation. High-speed passive copper QSFP-DD interconnects link the two units and completely move output processing and network activity out of the server into a separate I/O chassis. The system is built around the exclusive Extreme Direct Music Interface (XDMI), which carries the audio data stream directly via PCIe to native I2S, the Extreme SFP network card and user-swappable modules (including analogue RCA, digital AES/EBU and direct connections for selected DACs), achieving absolute timing precision managed through a mobile Bluetooth BMS app.
