The Loewe klang mr5 represents the peak of the klang mr series — a wireless multiroom speaker designed both for standalone music listening and for integration into home cinema systems. Its open multiroom ecosystem is built on the DTS Play-Fi platform, complemented by Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Roon, so streaming runs straight from services or a local library with no external source required. A total music output of 180 W covers even larger rooms.
The design is based on a conical cabinet with 360° dispersion in all directions and an integrated subwoofer that extends the response towards the low frequencies. The surface is finished in acoustic fabric developed by Loewe itself, while the top is closed off by a glass touch panel with an LED light ring. It lets you store and recall up to five favourites at a single touch — radio stations, tracks or playlists — independently of the source.
Omnidirectional dispersion combined with a balanced tuning contributes to a stable soundstage that depends far less on the listener's position, while the integrated subwoofer keeps the bass line legible even at higher volumes. In a home cinema setup, the klang mr5 works as a wireless surround speaker via Loewe Digital Audio Link technology, which transmits the signal losslessly and with zero latency, so the rear channels stay precisely in sync with the picture.
The DTS Play-Fi platform allows up to 32 speakers to be controlled wirelessly from a single music source and up to four separate surround sound zones to be created. The system can therefore grow step by step from one room to the whole home without touching the installation.

Loewe
The German brand Loewe is one of the pioneers of consumer electronics. It was founded in Berlin in 1923 by brothers Siegmund and David Loewe, and as early as 1931 it publicly unveiled an electronic television at the Berlin Radio Exhibition.
