The Loewe klang mr1 is a wireless multiroom speaker designed both for standalone music streaming and for use as a rear surround channel in a home cinema. Despite its compact dimensions, it delivers a total music power of 30 W and features a finely tuned 3-inch driver that covers the midrange with excellent intelligibility and stable source localisation. Operation is handled via a glass touch panel with LED indication, where up to five favourite stations or playlists can be stored independently of the source and recalled with a single touch.
Streaming is provided by the DTS Play-Fi platform, complemented by Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify and Roon. Within Play-Fi, up to 32 speakers can be controlled wirelessly from a single music source and up to four separate zones can be created, allowing synchronised playback throughout the entire home or independent content in individual rooms.
For home cinema use there is the lossless Loewe Digital Audio Link technology, which – in combination with the Loewe klang bar5 mr soundbar – connects the mr1 as a wireless surround speaker in precise time synchronisation. The result is a stable surround field with no timing shifts and clearly readable placement of effects behind the listener. The tapered cabinet design with acoustic fabric developed in-house by Loewe suppresses unwanted reflections on the front surface; a wall mount for flexible positioning is included in the package.

Loewe
The German brand Loewe is one of the pioneers of consumer electronics. It was founded in Berlin in 1923 by brothers Siegmund and David Loewe, and as early as 1931 it publicly unveiled an electronic television at the Berlin Radio Exhibition.
