The South Korean brand HzProject, also known as Hz Audio, produces high-end digital audio equipment with a single aim: to ensure that what comes out of it is not just ‘sound’, but music. The servers utilise a dual linear power supply with two transformers and independent branches for individual components, a high-precision OCXO clock for both the motherboard and the network interface, and a low-noise processor with a customised BIOS. The solid aluminium chassis, 15 mm thick, rests on Stillpoints isolators; the music and operating system have their own shielded storage drives, and mains isolators provide galvanic isolation for the audio path.
