Headphone Cable Meze Audio 2 Pin Silver Plated Cable
Description
Silver-plated copper cable with 2-pin connector for in-ear monitors
This replacement cable for IEMs with a 2-pin (0.78 mm) termination is designed for the ASTRU and ALBA models. The conductors are made of SPC – silver-plated copper to the manufacturer's own specification and are formed into a braided construction. The cable is available in two termination options: 4.4 mm balanced or 3.5 mm single-ended.
Each conductor consists of 22 strands with a diameter of 0.05 mm, which increases the effective conductor surface and the flexibility of the 1.2 m cable. The materials used are corrosion-resistant, contributing to long-term contact stability and the durability of the entire run. The braided construction also improves mechanical resilience in everyday portable use.
In terms of reproduction, high-quality signal transfer and a lower noise floor translate into more legible detail, a greater sense of space and higher transparency. The 4.4 mm balanced termination allows connection to sources with a balanced output and separate signal paths for the left and right channels.

Meze Audio
Meze Audio was founded in 2011 by industrial designer Antonio Meze in the Romanian city of Baia Mare. Today, it is one of the world’s most highly regarded brands of high-end headphones. Meze combines timeless design, precision engineering and a focus on the emotional impact of music. The headphones are designed to last for years – both physically and in terms of their ability to connect with the listener. It draws inspiration from Romania’s cultural heritage and the idea of living in the moment to the full, so that each pair of headphones is a meaningful object rather than merely a piece of technology.
The portfolio includes both planar magnetic and dynamic headphones, open-back and closed-back models, and premium in-ear monitors. The flagship headphones utilise the Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver, developed in collaboration with Rinaro Isodynamics, which delivers exceptional clarity, spatial depth and comfort even during long listening sessions. Meze also offers planar technology in a closed, portable design, whilst the dynamic models with hand-crafted wooden ear cups impress with their natural, warm and musical sound at a more affordable price. The range is complemented by ear pads, upgrade cables and accessories, allowing everyone to customise the comfort, look and sound to suit their own preferences.
