The Rockna Wavedream NET is a High-End audio server and memory-based CD transport engineered to serve as the ultimate digital source, matching seamlessly with the Wavedream DAC via HDLink (I2S). Designed around a dual-core architecture, it completely separates disc playback handling from server operations. An onboard FPGA engine manages CD playback and real-time DSP stream processing, routing all audio through a large RAM buffer clocked by an ultra-low phase noise master clock. Controlled via a clean web interface, it integrates a versatile suite of software services—including Roon Server, MPD, UPnP/DLNA, AirPlay, HQPlayer NAA, and automated CD ripping—and supports seamless web-based firmware updates.
