Description
The Ferrum WANDLA is a flagship digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and preamplifier engineered around the ESS Sabre ES9038PRO chip paired with Ferrum's proprietary current-to-voltage (I/V) conversion stage. Driven by SERCE—a proprietary ARM-based digital audio system module—WANDLA simplifies the signal path, handles full MQA decoding, and introduces Dynamic Digital Filtering (DDF) featuring custom digital filters developed by Signalyst (creators of HQPlayer). Featuring a fully balanced analog circuit with balanced XLR and RCA inputs/outputs, a high-resolution touchscreen UI, and versatile audio-optimized inputs (USB, Coaxial, Optical, AES/EBU, HDMI ARC, and I2S), WANDLA delivers exceptional clarity and fatigue-free transparency. It can also be paired with the HYPSOS Hybrid Power System via the Ferrum Power Link (FPL) connection with 4T sensing for maximum audio fidelity.
