Description
The Kuzma Stogi Ref 313 VTA is an extraordinary 12-inch gimbal tonearm designed to fit onto standard 9-inch turntable mounting distances, combining extended 12-inch tracking geometry with Kuzma's precision VTA tower. This rigid VTA tower enables repeatable, zero-play Vertical Tracking Angle micro-adjustments on-the-fly while playing, with precision down to 0.01mm. Machined entirely from solid aluminum and brass blocks, its internally damped conical armtube features a proprietary hexagonal locking system that secures a detachable headshell with the structural integrity of a fixed design. Its horizontal and vertical movement relies on ultra-low-friction precision ceramic ball bearings (implemented in 2012) operating with zero play under heavy loads. Enhanced by a silicone-submerged worm-drive mechanism for fine, repeatable azimuth adjustments, a decoupled brass counterweight, and continuous uninterrupted internal wiring from cartridge pins to gold-plated RCA (or optional XLR/5-pin) connectors, the Stogi Ref 313 VTA delivers reference-grade tracking accuracy, harmonic authenticity, and ultimate setup versatility.
