Arm Kuzma Stogi
Description
The Kuzma Stogi is a high-rigidity, medium-mass gimbal tonearm built to withstand heavy cartridge loads while displaying exceptionally low friction and minimal noise. Machined from solid aluminum and brass blocks with strategic anodization to control resonances, its parts are structurally bonded using specialized adhesives for ultimate rigidity and damping. The Stogi features precision stainless steel gyroscope ball bearings—vacuum-sealed and factory-numbered for quality control—configured with two horizontal and two vertical bearings capable of handling 20 kg loads each with zero play. An internally damped straight aluminum armtube mounted on a heavy brass support delivers effective vibration dissipation, while fine azimuth adjustments are performed via a tube-locking mechanism. Complete with a decoupled brass counterweight, a massive mounting base, and continuous uninterrupted internal wiring from cartridge pins to high-quality RCA (or optional XLR/5-pin) connectors, the Stogi delivers remarkable tracking integrity, dynamic weight, and resolution.
