Turntable Kuzma Stabi Ref 2

First introduced in 1992, the Kuzma Stabi Ref (Stabi Ref 2) is a reference-grade suspended turntable engineered around a dual-chassis sandwich architecture. Both the suspended top chassis and base plate consist of two 10mm aluminum plates clamping a dampening acrylic layer with pre-stressed, non-magnetic stainless steel screws. The upper chassis is suspended on silicone-damped springs tuned to an ultra-low 2.2 Hz resonance frequency and features four easy-leveling knobs with automatic silicone sealing for transport. Its drive system utilizes a dual-motor diamond arrangement powering a subplatter that houses an inverted bearing with a ruby ball, lubricated in dedicated oil baths for the ball and sliding ring. The main platter, record mat, specialized clamp, and armboard all share the same aluminum-acrylic sandwich design to eliminate parasitic resonances.
