Description
The Taiko Audio Olympus System is an ultra-high-end two-chassis digital music platform comprising the Olympus Server and the external Olympus I/O expansion module. Driven by four independent Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery power supplies with GaN FET charging technology, the platform delivers complete electrical isolation, multi-layer physical shielding, and an exceptionally low noise floor with up to 36 hours of pure battery operation. High-speed multi-lane QSFP-DD passive copper links connect the units, offloading signal routing and network tasks from the server to the isolated I/O enclosure. Featuring the proprietary Extreme Direct Music Interface (XDMI) that routes bitstreams directly over PCIe to native I2S, an Extreme SFP Network Card, and user-swappable output modules (including analog RCA, digital AES/EBU, and bespoke direct-DAC links), the system provides reference-grade timing accuracy and digital playback transparency managed via a dedicated Bluetooth BMS app.
