Description
The Taiko Audio Olympus I/O is an external output interface expansion chassis designed to pair with the Olympus Server for maximum hardware isolation and performance. Powered by its own dedicated dual Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery power supply with GaN FET charging technology, it delivers up to 36 hours of pure battery operation for the audio output and network sections. The I/O unit houses the proprietary Extreme Direct Music Interface (XDMI) baseboard and an Extreme Network Card featuring an SFP port to eliminate network noise. It connects to the Olympus Server via ultra-high-speed, multi-lane QSFP-DD passive copper links, completely offloading output processing, network handling, and noise generation into a separate, physically shielded enclosure.
