The Blumenhofer Acoustics Genuin FS 2 MK 2 represents a major sonic evolution of a classic, inheriting the advanced driver technologies developed for the flagship FS 1 MK 3. While preserving its original cabinet dimensions and timeless external aesthetic, the MK 2 edition undergoes a complete internal upgrade centered around a premium 12-inch (30cm) paper-cone woofer driven by a remarkably powerful AlNiCo magnet. This high-efficiency 2-way loudspeaker achieves a new level of sonic maturity, delivering extended bass authority, deeper low-frequency resolution, and a significantly richer, more textured midrange. The high frequencies are handled by a high-performance 1.4-inch titanium membrane compression driver loaded into an adjustable horn for precise time alignment to the listening spot. Exceptionally tube-friendly, it features switchable impedance linearization and gold-plated tellurium copper bi-wiring/bi-amping terminals, offering an effortlessly dynamic, organic, and lifelike live music presentation.
