Description
The Ferrum ERCO Gen 2 is a fully balanced headphone DAC and preamplifier that bridges the gap to Ferrum's flagship WANDLA converter through updated analog circuitry and SERCE DSP firmware. Featuring an upgraded I/V conversion stage and an HQ Apodizing digital filter, it supports high-resolution playback up to PCM 768 kHz and DSD 512 as well as full MQA decoding. Built on a discrete/IC hybrid design with a fully balanced signal path, it offers 4.4 mm balanced and 6.35 mm single-ended headphone jacks alongside XLR and RCA line outputs. With three digital inputs and one analog input, ERCO Gen 2 can also be upgraded using the proprietary Ferrum Power Link (FPL) connection when paired with the HYPSOS Hybrid Power System for peak musical performance.
