The Diamond Monitor 15 mkII is the smallest monitor in the Diamond series, yet it possesses a remarkable ability to challenge much larger speakers in terms of precision and soundstage. This second-generation model has been completely re-engineered to offer exceptional midrange plasticity and vocal naturalness. At its heart is a custom Norwegian Seas mid-woofer featuring a specialized phase plug and a reinforced double-magnet drive, ensuring deep, controlled bass and a coloration-free midrange. This is complemented by an updated Scan-Speak neodymium tweeter with a dual resonance chamber, delivering extraordinary microdynamics and refined detail. The cabinet features a steeper tilt for improved time alignment and is damped with natural sheep’s wool to eliminate standing waves. Whether used as the centerpiece of a high-quality compact stereo system or as high-end surround speakers in a home theater, the Diamond Monitor 15 mkII delivers a sophisticated, expansive sound that belies its modest dimensions.
