This flagship three-way design from the Diamond series features a steeper cabinet tilt, which not only refines its aesthetic but also improves the time alignment of the frequency bands. The low end is powered by dual Norwegian Seas Prestige woofers, boasting massive magnetic circuits and 1.5-inch voice coils for superior piston-like precision. The midrange is handled by a modified Seas driver featuring a specialized phase plug instead of a traditional dust cap, virtually eliminating upper-midrange resonances and coloration. High frequencies are entrusted to an updated Scan-Speak tweeter with a powerful neodymium magnet system and a dual resonance chamber, delivering exceptional microdynamics and detail. The rigid cabinet, reinforced with internal ribbing and damped with natural sheep’s wool, provides a resonance-free environment that was perfected using laser vibrometry. The Diamond 30 mkII stands as a perfectly balanced loudspeaker, offering a neutral, detailed, and deeply engaging listening experience within a timeless, minimalistic design.
