The Wadax Atlantis Reference Transport is a flagship optical disc transport designed to read SACD and CD media with unprecedented precision, treating disc playback, signal transmission, and conversion as a single integrated continuum. At its heart is the 25 kg THOR PRO optical engine—a mechanically isolated reading mechanism constructed from 33 custom-machined parts across 9 materials, housed within a 60 kg anti-resonant chassis. The transport connects to the Reference DAC via the proprietary Akasa optical interface, using a custom dispersion-flat optical cable to achieve complete far-field galvanic isolation (≥2m) with 10.17 ns sample alignment.
