Description
The MOON 681 is a reference network player and digital-to-analog converter from the North Collection engineered to serve as a high-resolution digital front end. Powered by the MDE1 digital engine and the MiND 2 streaming platform, it supports high-resolution PCM and native DSD playback with full integration for Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and Bluetooth aptX. The unit incorporates MOON Hybrid Volume (MHV) technology, enabling precise digital level control for direct connection to power amplifiers. Featuring a 4.3-inch color screen for artwork and track status, the 681 provides six digital inputs (including HDMI ARC, USB, AES/EBU, optical, and coaxial), fixed and variable XLR/RCA analog outputs, MOONLink system synchronization, and the BRM-1 intelligent remote control.
