The soulution 550 Phono is a technical tour de force designed to unlock the ultimate emotional and musical potential of the vinyl medium. Handling the microscopic signals of low-output Moving Coil cartridges presents a monumental engineering challenge, which the 550 Phono masters by delivering up to 80 dB of gain (a 10,000-fold amplification) while remaining completely linear and phase-correct. It features an ultra-wide internal bandwidth of 1 MHz and a strict dual-mono architecture with entirely separate power supplies for the left and right channels to eliminate crosstalk. Both inputs can be individually configured for MM or MC cartridges, with load impedance effortlessly selectable via the front panel or remote control. Utilizing the identical preamplifier-grade output stage and robust power supply from the acclaimed soulution 520, the 550 Phono drives any cable with absolute speed and precision, revealing the rich textures, explosive dynamics, and unmatched refinement of well-produced vinyl.
