The MOON 260D is a high-performance CD transport featuring an optional 32-bit digital-to-analog converter. Built with an oversized power supply, proprietary low-vibration drive mechanism, and MQA pass-through capability, it outputs bit-perfect digital audio to external DACs via AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical connections. When fitted with the optional 32-bit DAC module, it operates as a complete digital front end, adding asynchronous USB and S/PDIF inputs alongside refined analog output stages. Incorporating SimLink™ communication, RS-232 ports, and 12V triggers, the 260D delivers exceptional digital playback, extended dynamic resolution, and long-term upgrade flexibility for high-resolution two-channel systems.
