Loewe stellar 83 dr+ — OLED TV with its own WOLED MLA META panel, a 300 W soundbar and dual dr+ recording

The Loewe stellar 83 dr+ is a luxury 83" OLED TV built around an Ultra HD WOLED MLA META panel with Micro Lens Array technology, which Loewe designs and manufactures in-house in Kronach. The panel is complemented by the Master Black polariser, contributing to higher brightness, deeper blacks and more accurate motion rendering. The display is pre-calibrated at the factory and supports HDR 10+ Adaptive, i.e. dynamic brightness mapping according to the ambient light in the room.

The construction is based on a diamond-cut aluminium frame and a rear cover in exposed concrete or aluminium, with manufacturing declared 100 % in Germany. The chassis includes a concealed LED strip, Loewe magic.light, offering welcome and farewell animations as well as ambient lighting in warm white or any colour, with adjustable brightness, saturation and animation length. The Loewe magic.motion function allows the TV to be rotated on an optional motorised floor stand directly from the remote control. A slim wall mount is included in the box; motorised stands are available as accessories.

Image processing and system functions are handled by the latest NTK chipset with a graphics AI neural processing unit combined with Tizen OS 8. All four inputs meet the full HDMI 2.1 standard with eARC, ALLM and VRR and support Ultra HD resolution up to 144 Hz, which reduces screen tearing and input lag when gaming on current-generation consoles. They are complemented by Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming via Microsoft Xbox or Nvidia GeForce NOW, support for DLNA, Miracast and Samsung SmartThings for content sharing and control on the home network, as well as localised apps and streaming services.

The audio side is handled by an integrated active front-firing soundbar with Dolby Atmos support and a total music power of 300 W, hidden behind a metal or fabric cover. Higher-class drivers deliver a clear midrange and intelligible dialogue, while the Center-In input additionally allows the TV to be connected as the centre channel in a multichannel home setup. The recording section is formed by the Loewe dual channel dr+ system with a dual triple tuner DVB-T2/C/S2 HD and a built-in 1 TB SSD, which handles simultaneous viewing and recording, scheduling recordings via EPG and timeshift — silently, quickly and with low power consumption. A concealed CI CAM slot is also accessible.
