The Loewe radio.frequency is a compact portable stereo radio with DAB/DAB+ and FM reception, complemented by wireless streaming via Bluetooth 5.0. It was created to mark the 100th anniversary of Radio Frequenz GmbH, founded in Berlin by the Loewe brothers. A total music output of 28 W and a 2.0 speaker configuration with active drivers allow full-bodied reproduction of radio broadcasts as well as music from mobile devices within very space-saving dimensions.
The construction combines acoustic fabric developed by Loewe with Canadian oak inlays on the top and bottom of the body. As this is a natural material, the wood grain differs on every single unit. Operation is handled via a 2.6" LCD display with high contrast and brightness control, showing the time, the tuned station and the current settings.
Independent operation is taken care of by a built-in lithium battery with up to 14 hours of playback, charged through a USB-C port with Power Delivery support. The pair of drivers in a stereo layout contributes to a legible midrange and intelligible speech reproduction, which shows with news stations and podcasts alike. The feature set is rounded off by an alarm clock with snooze and a hotel mode for use away from home.

Loewe
The German brand Loewe is one of the pioneers of consumer electronics. It was founded in Berlin in 1923 by brothers Siegmund and David Loewe, and as early as 1931 it publicly unveiled an electronic television at the Berlin Radio Exhibition.
