Burmester Audiosysteme GmbH, abbreviated as Burmester, is a German company engaged in the manufacture of high-end audio components, from loudspeakers and amplifiers to CD players and turntables. It is based in the German capital, specifically in the Schöneberg district, and its founding, along with the start of production, dates back to 1977. The founder of this world-renowned brand is Mr. Dieter Burmester (1946 – 2015), who was a great musician and engineer in one person. As a true audio enthusiast, he had one goal from the beginning, and that was to build electronics and loudspeakers that reproduce music as naturally and cleanly as possible. Multiple industry awards only confirm that this Berlin manufacture has been a world leader for more than 40 years and is still going strong.
