The Loewe We. HEAR 2 is an active portable Bluetooth speaker in a 2.0 configuration with 60 W of power, designed for listening to music away from your home system. Wireless transmission is handled by Bluetooth 5.0, which contributes to a stable connection with a smartphone or tablet and lower consumption during longer listening sessions. The reproduced frequency range of 60 Hz – 20 kHz covers the entire vocal band as well as the higher harmonics and reaches into the fundamental bass region.
The construction is based on a compact cylindrical body measuring 125 × 290 × 121 mm with an integrated carrying strap. The controls are placed beneath a cover, which protects them from mechanical damage and moisture while making operation easier to navigate. IPX6 certification defines resistance to splashing water and dust, so the unit can also handle use outdoors.
The two-channel driver arrangement allows stereo presentation with clearer separation of instruments than mono portable speakers offer, and the available power provides headroom when filling an open space without having to work at the limits of volume. The battery with up to 17 hours of playback covers a full day of operation, with a full charge taking 4 – 5 hours.
