Projector Loewe We. BEAM Storm Grey

Compact laser projector with an ALPD engine and Full HD resolution for home and on-the-go projection

We. BEAM is a portable smart mini projector built around ALPD laser technology, which delivers native Full HD resolution, high contrast and even brightness across the entire image. Light output reaches 500 ANSI lumens, while HDR10 support extends the dynamic range with both film and streamed content. The device is designed as a standalone source of entertainment with its own operating system, so playback requires no external set-top box or media player.

The ALPD laser light engine works more energy-efficiently than classic lamp-based solutions and is characterised by a long service life with no loss of colour fidelity. Installation comfort is handled by automatic focus, image alignment and keystone correction, complemented by automatic adjustment of the projected image size. The screen diagonal can be varied from 40 to 120 inches, with the sweet spot at around 80 inches and a throw distance of 1.5 to 5 metres. Standard, rear and ceiling projection are supported, and cooling is handled by a low-noise fan.

The audio section consists of integrated 2 × 5 W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio decoding, which are sufficient for everyday viewing without any extra accessories. For more demanding playback there is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting an amplifier or active speakers, HDMI with CEC and ARC support for a soundbar or Blu-ray player, a USB-A port and a wireless link to Bluetooth speakers, including a stereo pair.

Power is handled by a USB-C adapter with Power Delivery support, so the projector also runs from a compatible power bank — that is, away from the mains, in the garden, on the terrace or while travelling. The chassis is stabilised by a silicone O-ring that prevents unwanted sliding on a table, and a 1/4-inch tripod thread allows mounting on photographic tripods of various sizes. Content is made accessible by the NetRange app store, an open browser and native Netflix and YouTube apps with direct buttons on the compact Bluetooth remote control.
