The CrystalConnect van Gogh is a USB cable with type A and type B connectors, designed to link a source with a DAC or the USB input of a streamer. The signal path is formed by Infinite Crystal Silver, a conductor with a monocrystal structure free of crystal boundary interruptions, which minimises the number of transitions in the path of the digital data stream.
The monocrystal structure of the conductor reduces microscopic discontinuities that, in conventional drawn conductors, act as a source of reflections and impedance distortion. Combined with USB A/B connectors, it contributes to stable mechanical and electrical contact along the entire length of the connection.
In terms of reproduction, a consistent signal path translates into a lower transfer error rate and more stable timing of the data stream, making it easier for the converter to reconstruct the signal. The result is more legible microdynamics and more precise localisation of instruments within the stereo image when connected between a computer, transport or server and a DAC.

Crystal Cable
The Dutch company Crystal Cable has been manufacturing top-quality cables since 2004. It is led by Gabi van der Kleij-Rijnveld, and the brand was established as a sister company to the renowned manufacturer Siltech. Today, both companies share development and manufacturing facilities in the Dutch town of Elst, whilst each retains its own distinct character.
