The van Gogh power cable belongs to the Art series and is built around the patented Infinite Crystal Silver (iCS) conductors that form the core of its construction. Compared with the Monet model, it uses a higher number of these signal conductors, which increases the overall conductivity of the power path between the energy source and the connected component.
Silver with a mono-crystal structure minimises the number of grain boundaries, where transmission would otherwise be distorted. At the same time, the larger cross-section of conductive material lowers the resistance of the power branch and contributes to a more stable current supply to the electronics during dynamic peaks.
The result is a purity of reproduction surpassed within the range only by the Da Vinci cables. In practice it shows as a quieter background to the recording and a more legible rendering of fine detail, because the component's power supply remains less burdened by losses and interference.

Crystal Cable
The Dutch company Crystal Cable has been manufacturing top-quality cables since 2004. It is led by Gabi van der Kleij-Rijnveld, and the brand was established as a sister company to the renowned manufacturer Siltech. Today, both companies share development and manufacturing facilities in the Dutch town of Elst, whilst each retains its own distinct character. Crystal Cable was founded following the development of a unique silver and gold alloy, which made it possible to create exceptionally thin, flexible and elegant cables.
