Phono cable with conductors made of patented Infinite Crystal Silver
The Van Gogh phono interconnect is designed to carry the low-level signal from the tonearm to the phono preamplifier, i.e. to the point where the system is most sensitive to distortion and interference. Both the signal and ground conductors are made of patented Infinite Crystal Silver (iCS), a silver with exceptionally high conductivity and a minimised number of crystal boundaries.
The transitions between the crystals of a conductor are among the main sources of microscopic distortion and loss in the transmission of weak signals. The continuous crystal structure of the iCS conductors reduces these transitions, which contributes to a lower level of distortion throughout the entire signal path. The identical design of the ground conductor also optimises the grounding of the whole turntable set-up.
The result is a cleaner transmission of the fine details of a vinyl record: better legibility of instrument decay, stable imaging within the stereo stage and dynamics unrestricted by losses in the connection. The cable is therefore intended for analogue systems in which the phono connection is just as integral a part of the chain as the cartridge or the preamplifier.

Crystal Cable
The Dutch company Crystal Cable has been manufacturing top-quality cables since 2004.
