The Hifistay Triple Axel Spike is a set of stainless steel anti-vibration spikes (cones) designed for the mechanical isolation of loudspeakers, heavy power amplifiers and source components. The design is built around a three-level arrangement of horizontal bearings with ceramic balls, which allows the contact surfaces to rotate freely and thus channels mechanical energy away from the base of the component in a controlled manner. The set contains 8 pieces.
The load-bearing element is a precision-machined ball tip of the cone, whose surface finish defines the contact area and the repeatability of placement. The stainless steel body measures 60 mm in diameter, offers a height adjustable within a range of 56–61 mm and a load capacity of 120 kg per piece, which covers even exceptionally heavy monoblocks or large floorstanding speakers. Mounting is handled by an M8 thread, with the M8 threaded fixing screw available as an optional accessory.
The adjustable height allows precise levelling of the component and an even distribution of load between the individual points, which reduces the transfer of vibration from the floor and of cabinet resonances into the mechanics of the device. In practice this translates into a more stable soundstage, clearer localisation of instruments and a quieter background, because less parasitic energy reaches the drivers, transformers and sensitive circuits.

The South Korean brand HIFISTAY™ specialises in the development and manufacture of hi-fi audio accessories that suppress unwanted vibrations, thereby improving sound quality. Its founder and chief designer, Pyun Naiwon, started out modestly in 2002 – with a presser weight for vinyl records. From these humble beginnings, the company has grown into a business that now manufactures a complete range of anti-vibration solutions and protects its know-how with several patents. HIFISTAY’s philosophy is based on a simple realisation: sound quality is determined not only by the components themselves, but also by what they stand on. Vibrations from the floor, from the speakers and from the equipment itself can obscure details, narrow the soundstage and compromise the precision of the bass.
At the heart of the range are audio racks that utilise proprietary VHC™ (Vertical Horizon Vibration Control), X-Frame & Perfect Pointer™ and Anti-gravity™ technologies, designed to dampen vibrations in both vertical and horizontal directions. The range is complemented by mats and stands for components, spikes and spike pads, as well as weighted dampers, which can be used to fine-tune every element of the system – from turntables and sources through to amplifiers and speakers. You’ll appreciate HIFISTAY accessories whether you’re building a new system or want to extract even more clarity, tranquillity and musical precision from your current setup.
