Wadax Studio Clock – reference master clock with TRUE MASTER CLOCK™ technology for synchronising your entire digital chain

The Wadax Studio Clock is an external reference clock generator designed for precise time synchronisation of digital sources and D/A converters. At its core lies the patented TRUE MASTER CLOCK™ technology, derived directly from the Zepto Clock solution used in the flagship Atlantis Reference system. The goal is to achieve extreme timing accuracy and a single, unified reference for every connected component.

The unit offers six fully configurable Word Clock outputs, implemented via isolated 75-ohm BNC connectors. Each output operates across a wide range of clock frequencies up to 196.6 MHz, allowing precise matching with virtually any D/A converter on the market. Galvanic isolation of the individual outputs reduces mutual interaction between the connected devices.

Its use is not limited to Wadax components. The Studio Clock can serve as a central source of timing reference for servers, routers, network switches or any audio component with an external clock input. A shared reference with low timing uncertainty contributes to more stable decoding of the digital signal, more accurate localisation of instruments within the stereo image and clearer, more legible decay of fine detail.

Operation is handled by a touch interface, through which each output channel is configured individually — from a simple two-component setup to an extensive digital chain. For a further performance boost there is an Akasa DC input, which allows connection of the external Wadax Studio PSU for cleaner power delivery and higher timing accuracy across all outputs.
