The Loewe Stellar 42 DR+ Concrete is a 42-inch Ultra HD OLED smart TV that combines in-house picture engineering with craft-level cabinet work. At its heart lies a WOLED MLA panel with META technology, designed, developed and manufactured by Loewe itself. The micro lens array architecture redirects a greater share of the emitted light towards the viewer, raising peak brightness without sacrificing the absolute black level that is the signature of OLED. The panel is factory-calibrated and supports HDR10+ Adaptive, i.e. dynamic tone mapping based on ambient light levels.
Picture processing is handled by a powerful NTK chipset with an AI neural graphics processor, which takes care of upscaling, noise reduction and scene analysis. All four inputs meet the HDMI 2.1 standard including eARC, ALLM and VRR up to 144 Hz, so the TV handles high refresh rates from consoles and PCs alike, while also passing uncompressed surround sound to an external system. The Tizen OS 8.0 operating system opens up the major streaming services, Samsung SmartThings integration and the Samsung Gaming Hub with support for Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce NOW.
The recording side is built around the DR+ system with an integrated hard drive and twin triple DVB-T2/C/S2 HD tuners, allowing simultaneous viewing and recording, timeshift and archiving of recordings scheduled via the EPG. The discreetly placed CI-CAM slot remains easily accessible and extends the options for receiving encrypted programming. Operation is quiet and energy-efficient, with no need for an external recorder.
The construction follows the Craft design language: a brushed aluminium frame with a diamond cut, a high-gloss metal speaker grille and a rear panel made of real concrete with a unique texture. Connectors are concealed and cables are routed through integrated cable management. The atmosphere is rounded off by adjustable Loewe magic.light ambient lighting with a hidden LED strip whose colour, brightness, saturation and animation duration can be individually adjusted or switched off entirely. The optional motorised stand with the Loewe magic.motion function lets you swivel the TV at the press of a button on the remote.
The German brand Loewe is one of the pioneers of consumer electronics. It was founded in Berlin in 1923 by brothers Siegmund and David Loewe, and as early as 1931 it publicly unveiled an electronic television at the Berlin Radio Exhibition. In the 1930s, it registered the most television patents in the world. Since 1948, it has been based in Kronach, Bavaria, where it continues to develop products that combine German precision with timeless design.
The Loewe range includes high-end OLED and LCD televisions, audio and multi-room systems with wireless speakers, home cinema systems up to 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos set-ups, as well as powerful soundbars and subwoofers. In recent years, Loewe has also expanded its portfolio to include premium lifestyle products, such as headphones, which reflect its long-standing expertise in sound and design. Each product is designed to deliver an exceptional user experience and to blend seamlessly into modern living spaces.
