The HiFiStay Stella 80 Triple Swing is a premium anti-vibration isolation footer designed for the mechanical isolation of high-end audio components, amplifiers, audio racks and heavy loudspeakers. Its performance is defined by a three-tier layered structure with the Triple Swing mechanism, which — combined with three zirconia ceramic balls on each layer — disperses resonant energy and limits the feedback of vibrations into the connected equipment. At 29–36 mm in height and 80 mm in diameter, it is a compact solution with highly effective damping.
The construction consists of the main body, a spike base, a ceramic ball damping system, a roller base and guide rings, which together form a functional whole with clearly divided roles. The material is specialised high-density stainless steel, which weighs roughly 2.5 times more than aluminium and contributes to greater mass stability of the setup. The pyramid construction with a low centre of gravity handles an average load of 10–60 kg per piece, with a maximum load capacity of 120 kg.
In playback terms, consistently damped resonance shows up above all in the midrange — the higher material density reduces parasitic ringing of the cabinet or chassis, which improves midrange clarity and the stability of the soundstage. Decoupling the component from the footer via ceramic balls reduces the transfer of structure-borne vibrations, contributing to more precise instrument localisation and a quieter background to the recording.
The practical side is handled by a system of interchangeable top adapters, including screwless concave cups, which allows the support to be tailored to a specific device — from flat plinths to loudspeaker spikes. South Korean manufacturer HiFiStay has specialised in vibration and resonance control for more than two decades, and the Stella 80 Triple Swing is among its most technically refined solutions.

The South Korean brand HIFISTAY™ specialises in the development and manufacture of hi-fi audio accessories that suppress unwanted vibrations, thereby improving sound quality. Its founder and chief designer, Pyun Naiwon, started out modestly in 2002 – with a presser weight for vinyl records. From these humble beginnings, the company has grown into a business that now manufactures a complete range of anti-vibration solutions and protects its know-how with several patents. HIFISTAY’s philosophy is based on a simple realisation: sound quality is determined not only by the components themselves, but also by what they stand on. Vibrations from the floor, from the speakers and from the equipment itself can obscure details, narrow the soundstage and compromise the precision of the bass.
At the heart of the range are audio racks that utilise proprietary VHC™ (Vertical Horizon Vibration Control), X-Frame & Perfect Pointer™ and Anti-gravity™ technologies, designed to dampen vibrations in both vertical and horizontal directions. The range is complemented by mats and stands for components, spikes and spike pads, as well as weighted dampers, which can be used to fine-tune every element of the system – from turntables and sources through to amplifiers and speakers. You’ll appreciate HIFISTAY accessories whether you’re building a new system or want to extract even more clarity, tranquillity and musical precision from your current setup.
