Cable support with a dual vibration control system and Swing pendulum technology

The Hifistay Sound Wings is a cable support designed to lift interconnect, speaker and power cables off the floor and to eliminate the transfer of vibrations from the floor and from connected components. The construction combines a dual vibration control system with its own self-resonant frequency system, addressing the micro-vibrations transmitted into the cable during playback. The manufacturer has long specialised in audio racks, supports and anti-vibration cones, and this model carries over its proven solutions in a compact format measuring 134 x 96 mm.

The primary damping stage consists of two silicone bands that hold the cable in a stable position while regulating micro-vibrations. The primary control band is rated even for heavier cables of larger diameter. The secondary stage is handled by Swing technology – a pendulum principle with a three-layer base structure and six ceramic balls that blocks external vibrations from entering and damps the support's own resonances. The movement of the upper section is noticeably smooth to the touch, confirming the low friction of the entire mechanism.

Reducing mechanical interference in the cable contributes to a more stable signal transfer and a lower degree of dielectric modulation, and thus to more legible detail rendering and more precise localisation of instruments within the stereo image. The support offers several installation options to suit a particular system and is compatible with all cable types, including more substantial designs.
