Power Amplifier Ypsilon Electronics SET 100 Ultimate Silver
Description
The SET 100 Ultimate is a flagship 120-watt single-ended Class-A hybrid power amplifier, engineered to blend the harmonic purity of a low-power single-ended triode with uncompromised drive and macro-dynamics. Its minimalist topology utilizes only two gain stages with zero global feedback: an input stage featuring a Siemens EC8010 tube with its own tube-rectified, choke-regulated power supply, coupled via a proprietary double C-core interstage transformer to a single-ended MOSFET output stage direct-coupled through an amorphous double C-core choke. Hand-wired with custom-extruded silver wire and equipped with a low-noise power supply utilizing 4-pole capacitors, the SET 100 Ultimate delivers unmatched immediacy, 3D holographic imaging, extended low frequencies, and complete musical transparency.

Ypsilon Electronics
Ypsilon Electronics was established in 1995. It was founded by two sound engineers with extensive experience in the field of live music reproduction. It was not only their experience with live music and concerts that provided the necessary knowledge, but also their technical background in electronics; it was precisely this that helped shape their vision of how a high-end audio device should function and what level of reliability it should demonstrate. It was precisely their love of natural live music and their determination that compelled them to transform this passion into technology – technology that combines traditional approaches with modern, pioneering design solutions and processes. The result of these efforts is a range of unique products that convey the true essence of music to listeners… emotion!
