Remote control LUMIN Remote Black
Description
Infrared control set for hands-on volume control of LUMIN network players
The LUMIN Infrared Control Package is an infrared remote control with a USB IR receiver, designed to operate all LUMIN models without having to use the app. It was created in response to requests from users who removed the preamplifier from their systems after the introduction of Leedh Processing and needed tangible volume control. The set works regardless of whether Leedh Processing is used or not.
The remote is made in Austria and is built around a solid zinc body, which gives it greater weight and stability in the hand. The top and bottom sections, along with the buttons, are made of acrylic, with the buttons providing distinct tactile feedback. The receiver connects via a free USB port on the rear panel of the player and comes with a cable approximately 900 mm long, allowing it to be positioned away from the unit while remaining within range of the infrared signal.
The remote controls volume up and down, mute, play and pause, next and previous track, shuffle, repeat and standby mode. The set is also compatible with Roon, so it fits into systems managed by this playback environment as well. Its practical benefit is most pronounced in preamplifier-free systems, where the digital volume control in the player takes over as the main control element.
The package includes the remote control measuring 230 × 33 × 10 mm, a USB infrared receiver, two CR2032 batteries and a manual. Supported models are X2, X1, S2, S1, T3X, T3, T2, T1, A1, D3, D2, D1, U2X, U2, U2 MINI, U1X, U1, U1 MINI and M1, each requiring one free USB port. The P2, P1 and P1 Mini models have an integrated infrared receiver and remote, so they do not need this set.
