Preamplifier Jadis Pré1 Gold

The French company Jadis Electronics, founded in 1983 by André Calmettes in Villedubert, is a global icon in the field of premium valve audio. It was born out of a deep passion for faithful music reproduction, with the aim of bringing the authentic atmosphere and emotions of live concerts directly into home listening rooms. Jadis specialises in the design and hand-building of valve amplifiers, preamplifiers, D/A converters and CD players. The heart and most precious gem of Jadis amplifiers are their proprietary output transformers, hand-wound using an original technique and encapsulated in a special resin for maximum thermal stability, quiet operation and exceptional durability. Most amplifiers operate in pure Class A, ensuring tremendous dynamics, velvety bass and supreme control over any loudspeakers.

Every vacuum tube undergoes rigorous selection and multi-stage testing prior to assembly, ensuring that only those with absolutely flawless specifications make it into the final products. The sophisticated design, surgically precise stainless steel chassis and gold-plated front panels lend Jadis components an instantly recognisable visual elegance. The Jadis brand is designed for discerning audiophiles and lovers of analogue musicality who seek a warm, natural and spatially rich sound, combined with uncompromising craftsmanship.
