Designed to maintain the series' high standards in smaller spaces or as a high-fidelity surround speaker, it utilizes a custom-built woofer with Pylon Audio's proprietary coated cellulose diaphragm. This ensures an uncompromising and natural midrange reproduction that remains consistent with the larger models. The high frequencies are handled by a 25 mm silk dome tweeter powered by a neodymium magnet, providing smooth and detailed highs. Despite its modest size, the Opal Sat creates a suggestive and expansive soundstage, making it a versatile choice for both high-quality stereo setups in intimate rooms and as a critical component in a sophisticated multichannel home theater system.
