CrystalConnect Monet is a network cable designed for transferring digital audio signal in streaming systems, where data integrity is decisive. The cable uses dual-layer shielding and impedance-matched, fully shielded RJ-45 connectors, which maintain consistent transmission conditions along the entire length of the run, including the termination.
In digital transmission, the signal is sensitive to minute deviations in amplitude and in the timing spacing of the pulses. It is precisely these deviations that lead to the loss of the finest information in the signal. Higher transfer rates are, moreover, more susceptible to external interference, which is why, when streaming music, preserving data integrity matters more than the raw speed of the link.
Thorough protection of the run against external interference shows up in the legibility of micro-detail and in the textures of the recording. Preserved dynamic contrasts and tonal colour contribute to a reproduction that never sounds flat or simplified — the nuances of the performance remain recognisable.

Crystal Cable
The Dutch company Crystal Cable has been manufacturing top-quality cables since 2004. It is led by Gabi van der Kleij-Rijnveld, and the brand was established as a sister company to the renowned manufacturer Siltech. Today, both companies share development and manufacturing facilities in the Dutch town of Elst, whilst each retains its own distinct character. Crystal Cable was founded following the development of a unique silver and gold alloy, which made it possible to create exceptionally thin, flexible and elegant cables.
