The Earth Grounding Master in the RAW Power Signature configuration is the flagship active grounding system (GNR – Grounding Noise Reducer) from Telos Audio Design, introduced in 2022 as a solution for the most demanding audio systems. It builds on the core of the standard GNR model, expanding it with four QMT modules and two QRC modules, which increases the number of grounding points and the ability to drain noise close to its source. The unit concentrates fifteen years of Telos grounding technology development, and the TIDAL La Assoluta system served as the reference during voicing.

In terms of construction, this is a massive solution with a net weight of 47 kg and a thick-walled chassis that suppresses resonances and the transfer of external vibrations. Power is supplied by a custom 40 W core power transformer, forty times the power of the 1 W version in the GNR model, providing headroom even under high load. In key positions within the QNR module there are Duelund CAST 630 V high-voltage tin-foil capacitors, whose voltage rating has risen by 252 %. Widened conductive traces on the circuit board and a larger conductor cross-section lower impedance and allow a smoother discharge of high currents.

System connection is handled by 12 independent WBT-0703 Cu nextgen grounding posts with separate ground leads, twice as many as on the base model. The four QMT modules act as wideband demagnetising and harmonising units over a range of 0 to 1,000,000 Hz, homogenising stray magnetic fields, while Telos V5.1 Schumann waves at 7.83 Hz fine-tune key components. Refined operating circuits and passive parts with tighter tolerances contribute to a more linear response and a lower noise floor.

In electrical engineering, grounding primarily serves a safety function – it drains leakage and induced currents so that the chassis of a component remains free of charge. In an audio chain, however, it also reduces noise, which translates into more legible detail and a calmer background to the recording. Thanks to QMT Quantum Magnetism, Telos V5.1 and QNR Quantum Noise Reduction technologies, the unit works even in environments with no connection to an earth point, and does so immediately after switch-on.
