The Loewe klang bar3 mr is an active soundbar designed for the sound reproduction of television content as well as streamed music, built around support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The Atmos Virtual and Virtual X virtualisation modes expand the soundstage into the room without the need for separate height channels, so playback feels three-dimensional even from a single cabinet beneath the television. Total music power reaches 360 W across a frequency range of 60 Hz – 20 kHz.
The bass is handled by two parallel subwoofers with 4-inch drivers and bass reflex ports placed on the left and right sides of the enclosure. This symmetrical layout contributes to a wide, balanced bass foundation with no localisable source of low frequencies, while leaving ample headroom for dynamic movie passages. Measuring 95 × 6.8 × 16 cm and weighing 5.9 kg, the cabinet is designed not to intrude on the television picture.
On the signal side, the soundbar offers video passthrough for 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+ and audio passthrough for Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS Virtual, so both picture quality and uncompressed surround sound from connected sources are preserved. Streaming is handled by the DTS Play-Fi platform with Apple Home and Google Home support, allowing your favourite content to be played in high quality throughout the home.
The system can be wirelessly expanded with additional speakers from the Loewe klang mr1, mr3 and mr5 range, for multichannel home cinema, multiroom audio or both at once. Thanks to open standards, third-party speakers can also be connected, as can the Loewe klang 5 and klang 9 models or the earlier Loewe Individual Sound System with its active subwoofer and electrostatic speakers.

Loewe
The German brand Loewe is one of the pioneers of consumer electronics. It was founded in Berlin in 1923 by brothers Siegmund and David Loewe, and as early as 1931 it publicly unveiled an electronic television at the Berlin Radio Exhibition. In the 1930s, it registered the most television patents in the world.
