Sculpturally designed 65" OLED TV with an integrated 3.1 soundbar and a stone stand

The Loewe iconic inspire 65 is a 4K OLED TV (WRGB panel) with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels that merges the picture section and the sound system into a single structural whole. It is manufactured in Kronach, Germany, where the brand has its own factory, and is built on the new Loewe SL8 chassis with the Image+ Active picture mode. Support for HDR, HLG and Dolby Vision at a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m² allows the dynamic range of modern cinematic formats to be reproduced correctly, with the panel calibrated at the factory.

The construction is based on Syno-Stone, the material used for both the body of the set and the massive stand. The hefty stone base (82.3 kg in the floor-standing version) suppresses unwanted cabinet vibrations at higher volumes while stabilising the entire assembly. The TV therefore requires neither a separate piece of furniture nor an external soundbar – picture, sound and installation solution form one mechanically interlinked system.

The audio section is handled by an integrated 3.1 soundbar with three front-firing speakers and two built-in subwoofers, nine drivers in total (both active and passive) delivering 180 W RMS / 360 W music power. The front-firing mid and treble sections contribute to dialogue intelligibility and precise localisation of sources across the width of the stage, while the subwoofers extend the bass range without the need for an external module. Decoding of Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD, including virtual surround processing, expands the soundstage beyond the plane of the screen.

In terms of features, this is a complete home entertainment hub: the 1 TB DR+ hard drive allows two programmes to be recorded in parallel while watching a third channel, as well as time-shifting and playback on a mobile device via the Loewe app. Connectivity includes four HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.2 (one with eARC), USB 3.0 and 2.0, a Mini Toslink digital output, a variable analogue output, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and screen mirroring via Miracast. Multiroom via Play-Fi, WDAL 2.0 wireless transmission and the option to connect an AV receiver allow integration into a larger system, while the DVB-T2/C/S2 HD tuner with Unicable support rounds off broadcast reception.
