Foundation Power Core — active power centre with a seven-module architecture derived from the Master series

The Foundation Power Core is an active power conditioner from the new Foundation line, which Telos Audio Design introduced in 2025 as a more compact interpretation of the Earth Grounding Master series technologies. It is based on the classic GNR / QRC chassis format, thereby retaining module compatibility and easy integration into an existing setup. According to the manufacturer it reaches up to 40 % of the performance of the flagship models, making active grounding and power tuning accessible to a wider range of systems.

The internal design builds on a seven-module architecture, which matches the Master series both in module count and in power parameters. Telos employs in-house developed chips and active module cores, complemented by tinned-copper and copper-foil capacitors that improve the efficiency of energy transfer. Power distribution is arranged so that each device is fed separately, which reduces mutual interference between components.

The unit supports a high-current output of up to 20 A, so it leaves headroom even for power amplifiers during dynamic peaks without compression. The core of the circuit precisely regulates the mains timing of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, which translates into more stable imaging of instruments and a clearer separation of the treble, midrange and bass bands. The optimised power routing contributes to dynamic stability, while the capacitor solution adds body and density to the reproduction.

The chassis is fully CNC machined from aluminium alloy, which ensures high rigidity and low resonance during energy transfer. The surface is anodised with a fine brushed texture, and the front panel follows the design lines of the Master and Supreme series. Five devices can be connected directly, with another five via an extension lead, i.e. ten components in total. Weight without packaging is 11 kg, power input 100–120 V or 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz.
