FENJA is a three-way passive loudspeaker from the Danish brand SV-Audio, designed for large-scale reproduction with an emphasis on soundstage depth and the physical presence of music. The driver complement consists of two 29 mm silk ring radiator tweeters, one 5" midrange driver and four 7" bass drivers, together providing the cone area required for dynamic headroom and low-frequency output. A frequency range of 30 Hz – 20 kHz ±3 dB, sensitivity of 89 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms place the model among speakers intended for amplifiers rated at 100–300 W.
The tweeters use neodymium motor systems, which contribute to precise, controlled reproduction of fine detail. The midrange and bass drivers employ woven, self-reinforcing polypropylene cones, chosen for their internal damping and dimensional stability. A dedicated midrange driver covers the critical vocal and instrumental band, keeping voices bodied and intelligible even at higher levels. The crossover is voiced through a combination of measurement and listening, with attention to time and phase behaviour; it features low-resistance coils and polypropylene capacitors that support consistent integration between the bands.
The construction is based on a multi-chamber MDF+ cabinet, with the tweeter and midrange driver housed in the upper section and the bass drivers in separate lower chambers. The low-frequency system is complemented by seven bass reflex ports on the rear panel. The trapezoidal geometry and solid aluminium front baffle increase enclosure rigidity and limit unwanted resonances. A weight of 58 kg per unit and dimensions of 24 × 125 × 56 cm match the recommended use in rooms of up to 100 m² with at least 100 cm of clearance from the rear wall.
Part of the design is a rear ambient tweeter that can be switched off, adding supplementary high-frequency energy to the room and allowing the degree of spaciousness to be matched to the room acoustics and speaker placement. The signal path is completed by SV-Audio's own in-house terminals and internal wiring chosen with the electrical integrity of the connection in mind. The model was introduced in 2024 and its name refers to the giantess Fenja from Norse mythology. It is available in standard satin and high-gloss finishes, and on request also in two- and three-layer automotive colours.

SV Audio
The SV-Audio brand (originally Storgaard & Vestskov), officially founded in 2023 on the Danish island of Bornholm, is one of the most prominent new names in the world of high-end loudspeakers. Its founder, Casper Vestskov Poulsen, spent years searching for a speaker system he would genuinely want to live with – and when he realised that no such system existed, he decided to create it himself. He brought to the project more than 25 years’ experience in precision CNC machining of steel and aluminium, which means that all the speakers are manufactured in-house in Denmark, with each unit individually measured, inspected and approved during production. The acoustic foundation for the first range was laid by sound engineer Jens Posselt, and since 2026 technical development has been led by CTO Benno Baun Meldgaard – a designer with over thirty years’ experience who has contributed to series such as the Gryphon EOS and Raidho TD.
The brand’s philosophy, summed up in the slogan ‘Sound That Matters’, prioritises musicality above all else. Technical solutions are tailored to this, with an emphasis on temporal and phase coherence, low distortion, linear power response, wide dispersion and amplifier-friendly behaviour. A distinctive feature is the CNC-machined front baffle made from T6 aerospace-grade aluminium, featuring a radial pattern inspired by the sun over Bornholm, the geometry of which also suppresses unwanted reflections around the drivers. The range comprises the compact two-way bookshelf model Frida, awarded the title ‘Statement in High Fidelity 2025’, the two-way floorstanding model Gro, the ‘Astrid’ with a linear arrangement of bass drivers, and the three-way flagship ‘Fenja’ for large listening spaces.
