Driven by a robust linear power supply and Ayre's iconic Double-Diamond output stage, the EX-8 delivers 100 Watts of effortless power to speakers. The American company Ayre Acoustics was founded in 1993 by Charles Hansen in Boulder, Colorado, where all its products are still manufactured today. Hansen led the company for 25 years, and his passion for the purity of music reproduction gave rise to equipment that made no compromises. Following his death in 2017, a team led by long-standing Technical Director Ariel Brown continues his legacy. Each component is hand-assembled in Boulder by experienced technicians, with rigorous quality control and a focus on American suppliers.
