The StormAudio Evo One is an immersive audio processor housed in a 1RU chassis, designed for systems with up to 16 channels. Channel capacity is scalable via licensing—offering configurations of 8, 12, or 16 channels—allowing the processor to be tailored to the specific installation without hardware modifications. Features include standard bass management, Adaptive Loudness functionality, and Roon Ready certification.
The signal exits the processor exclusively in digital format. It provides a 16-channel AES/EBU output, optionally supplemented by a Dante digital output or AES67 I/O interface with the same channel capacity. Input options include 16 channels of AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF, and optical Toslink. Video handling is managed via HDMI 2.1b / HDCP 2.3, featuring one input and one output with ARC/eARC support, 48 Gbps throughput on all ports (supporting 4K UHD and 8K), and compatibility with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG. A 6.3 mm headphone jack is provided for private listening.
Room correction is handled by Dirac Live with Room Correction, Bass Control, and Active Room Treatment modules, complemented by a 20-band parametric equalizer on each channel. Correcting the frequency response and room decay, combined with individual channel equalization, results in a more balanced bass range, consistent tonal balance across speakers, and more stable spatial localization of sound objects.
Configuration and control are managed via a web interface, the StormRemote app (for tablets and smartphones), an IR remote control, and a TCP/IP network connection with drivers for Control4, Crestron, RTI, Savant, Nice, and URC. With a width of 442 mm, a height of 43.7 mm, and a weight of 2.4 kg, the processor is rack-efficient; the manufacturer offers a five-year warranty.

StormAudio™, the flagship brand of France-based Immersive Audio Technologies, stands as a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance AV processors and multichannel power amplifiers for reference-grade home cinemas. The company is dedicated to delivering the most faithful, transparent, and spatial audio reproduction possible. At the core of StormAudio processors is real-time signal processing executed by dedicated DSP chips operating independently of OS interventions. Combined with ultra-low-noise analog stages, this architecture delivers acoustic performance on par with elite high-end stereo preamplifiers.
StormAudio natively supports all current 3D immersive audio formats while pioneering unique technologies, such as SphereAudio for binaural spatialization over high-end headphones. The brand was the world's first to implement the advanced Dirac Live calibration suite with full Bass Control module across up to 32 discrete channels, guaranteeing smooth, impact-filled low-frequency response across every seat in the theater.
