The Da Vinci network cable is designed for transferring high-resolution audio data over Ethernet in streaming set-ups as well as in more demanding media networks. The construction with four twisted pairs and full shielding exceeds the requirements of the 1,000 Mbit standard and preserves signal integrity along with timing accuracy even over longer cable runs.
Every conductor is made of Infinite Crystal Silver (iCS), a material with a minimised occurrence of crystal lattice defects. The conductors are surrounded by HF foil combined with a silver-plated copper braid, forming a double barrier against high-frequency interference from surrounding equipment and mains wiring. Insulation is provided by a PTFE dielectric with exceptionally low capacitance and long-term stable properties.
Thorough shielding and low cable capacitance reduce the smearing of data pulse edges, which in the digital chain translates into lower jitter and a calmer background to the recording. The result is a transparent signal path with legible micro-detail and stable instrument localisation, suitable for reference systems.

The Dutch company Crystal Cable has been manufacturing top-quality cables since 2004. It is led by Gabi van der Kleij-Rijnveld, and the brand was established as a sister company to the renowned manufacturer Siltech. Today, both companies share development and manufacturing facilities in the Dutch town of Elst, whilst each retains its own distinct character.
