Description

Semi-hard carrying case designed for the Yamaha YH-5000SE, YH-4000 and YH-C3000 headphones

The CCS-5000 is a dedicated carrying case for the Yamaha YH-5000SE, YH-4000 and YH-C3000 headphones. Its semi-hard case construction combines shape retention with low weight, so the case protects the headphones both in transit and during long-term storage. The interior layout is designed specifically around the geometry of these models, eliminating any free movement of the headphones inside.

The internal space accommodates one pair of headphones, one cable and a spare pair of earpads (L, R). A separate internal pocket is reserved for the cable, keeping the connectors away from the earcups and earpads and reducing the risk of scuffed surfaces or mechanical stress on the cable terminations during transport.

The case measures 228 × 130 × 283 mm (W × H × D) and weighs approximately 600 g, a format well suited to carrying in a backpack or travel bag. It thus complements the reference models with ORTHODYNAMIC and Armodynamic drivers with a practical way to store all the accessories in one place.

Yamaha

Yamaha is one of the few hi-fi manufacturers that also builds concert grand pianos and wind instruments. When developing an amplifier or a speaker system, therefore, it does not have to guess what a real instrument should sound like, as it has one to hand and can compare the sound to it. This forms the basis of a principle the brand has adhered to since the 1970s, known as ‘Natural Sound’: sound without embellishment and without any inherent colouration. In 1974, this principle was established by the NS-1000 loudspeakers with beryllium drivers, and ever since it has guided everything Yamaha produces for home listening, from turntables and amplifiers right through to AV receivers and wireless systems. Anyone looking for a sound that neither enhances nor embellishes a recording in any way will find exactly that with Yamaha.
