Accessories MOON by Simaudio BRM–1

System remote control machined from solid aluminium, with OLED display and wireless MOONLink communication

The MOON BRM-1 is an intelligent remote control designed for the components of the North Collection series, giving you access to source selection, playback, volume adjustment and standby mode without having to work with the displays of the individual units. The layout of the controls follows natural gestures, with a rotary control and touch control complemented by a graphic OLED display providing feedback on volume and the selected input. The response is immediate, with no lag, which is particularly noticeable during fine level corrections at low volumes.

The body is made entirely from solid aluminium and follows the visual language of the North Collection series. The finish, weight and feel match the construction of the components it controls, while the mechanical buttons provide firm and unambiguous feedback. Power is supplied by a long-life rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can be recharged with a standard USB charger.

Communication takes place wirelessly via the MOONLink protocol, so operation does not require a direct line of sight to the device. The BRM-1 centralises volume, input selection and control of streamed playback into a single unit and is compatible with all models of the North Collection series. The manufacturer also plans compatibility with future generations of MOON components, making this remote a long-term part of the system.
