The Bolt Kit is an optional accessory for Carbide Audio feet, allowing them to be bolted directly into the mounting points of the original spikes or factory-fitted feet under loudspeakers and other audio components. The set contains standard flat head machine screws, 8 pieces of each size, which covers the complete installation of one eight-piece set of feet.
The set is available in two thread variants according to the standard used on the given device. The metric version includes sizes M4, M6, M8 and M10, while the imperial version covers threads #8-32, 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16 and 1/2″-13. This range of sizes covers the mounting holes commonly used in loudspeaker cabinets as well as in stands and frames of audio equipment.
A solid bolted connection replaces simply resting the component on top of the foot and ensures a stable mechanical bond between the device and the isolation element. It helps keep the loudspeaker or component in a precisely defined position even at higher levels and during dynamic bass passages, with no risk of shifting or tilting.
Carbide Audio is an American manufacturer of high-end audio accessories based in Llano, Texas, near Austin. The brand was founded in 2019 by Jeff Jenkins, and its main products are anti-vibration pads for electronics, turntables and speakers, which isolate vibrations in both vertical and horizontal directions. Each pad combines a ViscoRing™ viscoelastic damping ring, which acts as a damped spring, with zirconium ball bearings on hardened steel tracks. Thanks to interchangeable rings for different weights, they can handle everything from lightweight sources to heavy speaker systems.
All products are designed, developed and manufactured in-house at the company’s own CNC production centre, ensuring full control over every detail. By combining advanced computer modelling with precision manufacturing, Carbide Audio is pushing the boundaries of vibration control in hi-fi systems. The development process – from concept, simulation and prototyping through to measurement and critical listening – reflects a strong commitment to innovation and uncompromising engineering. From proprietary aluminium profiles with a fine-grained structure to carefully selected materials, every component is chosen for maximum durability and performance. Every product undergoes multiple development cycles and rigorous testing before reaching customers worldwide. Thanks to a network of international distributors, Carbide Audio offers not only cutting-edge products but also reliable support.
