Description

The Burmester BC150 Loudspeakers bring the monumental acoustic breakthroughs of the flagship BC350 into a more versatile, room-friendly footprint. Engineered with absolute precision, the BC150 features a dual Air Motion Transformer (AMT) high-frequency system—with a front AMT for razor-sharp detail and a rear-firing AMT with an adjustable Ambience Control to tailor soundstage depth and sweet spot to any listening space. Midrange purity is driven by an oval voice coil design, while an authoritative 32 cm side-firing long-throw woofer delivers lightning-fast impulse response and deep, subterranean bass. Built with an internally braced, steel-reinforced chassis wrapped in a solid aluminum frame and decoupled crossovers to eliminate microphony, the handcrafted BC150 offers holographic spatial depth, effortless dynamic authority, and timeless luxury.

Burmester

The German company Burmester Audiosysteme GmbH, founded in Berlin in 1977 by Dieter Burmester, sets the global benchmark for high-end audio technology. To this day, it remains an independent family-run business that combines uncompromising engineering, handcrafted production at its Berlin workshop and an unmistakable design featuring chrome front panels. It has a long history of firsts – from the world’s first modular preamplifier to the first belt-driven CD player. In 2005, it became the first high-end manufacturer to enter the automotive world, and today its sound can be heard in Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari cars.

Its product range includes pre-amplifiers and power amplifiers, phono pre-amplifiers, CD and network players, turntables, mains conditioners and loudspeaker systems. More than 95 per cent of the components come from German manufacturers, and every unit undergoes a seven-day burn-in period before dispatch, involving more than 300 computerised measurements and a final listening test. Burmester products are designed to last for decades – they are reliable, repairable and ready for future upgrades.
